Hundreds of thousands are trafficked in the United States each year.
There are less than 50 Safe Houses in the United States.
Of those 50, few provide long term solutions.
Haven will stand in that gap.
ABOUT
THE MISSION HAVEN
The Mission Haven is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that is creating a community of care, nestled among the pines in North Carolina, lovingly designed for child survivors of DMST (Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking). This securely enclosed village will include 24-hour access to trauma-informed therapist, a school, a medical center, a fitness center, a chapel, and even access to art and music therapy.
Our therapist specialize in advanced trauma techniques and design each program specific to the needs of each child.
Our goal: Provide 50 girls ages 8 to 19 with everything they need to heal and thrive.
Our dream: To build "Havens" in all 50 states.

Provide A Comprehensive, Transformational, Haven of Healing to Victims of Slavery
HOPE
Once a survivor escapes, they desperately need to see new possibilities. They need hope. They need to see anything is possible, from graduating to starting their own business. They need mentors who have been there, survived, and now thrive. We provide the safety they need to dream about a life they choose. We help them explore hidden gifts, talents, and things they are passionate about. Then we provide education and training to develop those gifts.
We cannot erase the past, but can radically improve their future.
HEALING
Trauma has a devastating effect on the body, brain, and soul of it's victims. At Haven, we take a very holistic approach to providing therapeutic resources on site, any time day or night. Our therapists specialize in trauma related therapy. In addition to providing individual care to each girl, they also train us. All staff members are trained to nurture safe and appropriate attachment bonds with the girls, which promotes better healing. Our community of care provides safety, security, and true friendship during this long process.
HAVEN
Haven isn't just shelter, but a true refuge. We call it transformational housing because the darkest past can become a bright future. Haven is an enclosed village of tiny houses, a chapel, education facilities, and a central hospitality house. We have a small gym, music room, and art studio. Our wellness center provides private access to health care and therapy. Privacy is paramount, which for some is a new and welcome concept. We also encourage their choices from breakfast cereals to activities. Haven is home until they launch on their own.
